The Vichada river is one of the most coveted bodies of water for sport fishing enthusiasts, due to its wide variety of species and the size of the catches.
TUCUNARE LODGE AUTHORIZED FISHING AREA
The Vichada River is one of the most coveted by sport fishing enthusiasts for its large catches, with records of catches of peacock bass weighing over 25 pounds.
This is because the area is guarded by indigenous communities, and TUCUNARE LODGE has been able to communicate with some of these communities, obtaining a special permit to operate in their previously un-fished lagoons.
For this reason, the groups that will be taken to these lagoons will be a maximum of 8 people per week.
